Hill warns Dale over January sales
Dale have not won a promotion since 1969 and have failed in the League Two play-offs in the past two seasons.[LNB]Selling players such as striker Adam Le Fondre has not helped Hill's cause and the Spotland boss says the exit door must remain closed in January.[LNB]Hill said: "If we want to get promoted we have got to keep this squad together. Last season and the season before, we sold players.[LNB]"When January comes this time, let's retain our best players. If we do that we've a really good chance of making a fist of it.[LNB]"In the previous two seasons the teams who have been promoted have not sold anybody, but we've had to. I understand we have to, but let's do it at the right time."[LNB][LNB]
