Hill to give Dale players a break

Rochdale boss Keith Hill will go easy on his players in training this week as they gear up for Saturday's crucial home clash with Carlisle. Dale have endured a hectic run of fixtures in recent weeks and their exertions told during last weekend's clash against Brentford. The Bees won 1-0 at Spotland and Hill's men now lie two points outside of the play-off places with four matches remaining. Hill said: "We have a free week now for rest and recovery of the players before we face Carlisle at home on Saturday. "There will be hardly any time spent on the training ground. "We're still in with a chance of finishing sixth, along with three other clubs - Bournemouth, Leyton Orient and Exeter City."
