Hill targets strong finish

Rochdale manager Keith Hill urged his players to end their season on a high in the wake of their impressive 2-0 victory at Hartlepool. The result, earned through goals from Gary Jones and Craig Dawson, leaves Dale sitting comfortably in eighth in League One. With safety all but secured, Hill is desperate for his side to finish as well as possible. "I'm pleased with the points we have and we are safe now, definitely on 54 points. Now we make sure we don't tail off," he said. "It was two teams playing at the right way, a lot of people don't appreciate what we do and get a bit greedy. Some have labelled me a negative coach and all I want to do is play positive football. This was a good advert for League One and we were the better side. "After five minutes, we dominated and kept the ball well, the counter attack for the first goal was fantastic."
