Hill takes positives

Rochdale manager Keith Hill admitted the result was better than the performance after the 1-1 draw against 10-man Carlisle. Dale were trailing to Gary Madine's first-half header but they equalised just after the hour when Lubo Michalik received a second booking for bringing down Nicky Adams in the area and Gary Jones netted the penalty. Hill said: "The players still need to inspire me and show me they know what it is I want from them on a regular basis in League One. "The players have to start accepting responsibility for performances. Once again we conceded from a set play. We tried to get the balance right. This division is a big conundrum for me but hopefully we will solve it. "We are always happy with a point in this league. We need to keep climbing. But I'm not pleased with our performance, far from it. We should have done better in the first half and we had a lot of possession when they went down to 10 men."
