Dale currently lead League Two and travel to Shropshire this weekend to face a Shrews side yet to justify their pre-season hype.[LNB]Paul Simpson's men are hovering just below the play-off zone after being heavily backed as one of the promotion favourites during the summer.[LNB]Hill told the Rochdale Observer: "Shrewsbury are a good team. I thought they'd be one of the favourites before the season given the financial resources they have at the club.[LNB]"They have the means to recruit high-calibre players to add to a good squad in January. I still think they can be one of the strong favourites for automatic promotion or a play-off place.[LNB]"But we don't play with any fear. We try to instil confidence and a sense of creativity and allow them freedom of expression on the field."[LNB][LNB]
