Rochdale boss Keith Hill praised his side's attacking football after Joe Thompson fired his side to a 4-2 victory over Aldershot with a 17-minute hat-trick.[LNB]On-song Thompson cashed in on hapless Shots' defending to bag three inside the first 34 minutes - with Ciaran Toner adding a fourth before Marvin Morgan and Scott Davies netted for the hosts.[LNB]Hill said: "We had good fluidity out there and at times going forward we were frightening. The front four were superb and it was pleasing on the eye.[LNB]"We got good back-up from Ciaran Toner and Gary Jones. Joe Thompson is a very confident young man and he can play in a variety of positions as well.[LNB]"We played some very good stuff and it doesn't surprise me because we train like that. We don't train with the ball all week and then decide to go route one. When we play well we score goals."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
