The home side dominated the first half and raced into a two-goal lead. But by the end they were holding on, Jake Hyde having pulled one back for the Bees. "Our first-half display was as good as you could ask for," said Hill. "They were probably a little unfortunate to go in behind at half-time and Kenny Arthur made a world-class save. "We were a little wasteful in front of goal with the kind of opportunities we created and then we earned a penalty with some superb skill from Will (Buckley). "You can understand why the opposition went for it in the second half. They were 2-0 down so they threw caution to the wind and went a little more direct. "I thought we were patient and defended superbly. You have to accept that the opposition are going to get chances because of their style of play. They did, but we withstood it and I have no complaints."
