Hill has big ambition

Rochdale boss Keith Hill has urged his players to show they are capable of matching his own ambition for the npower League One club. Hill has forged an impressive reputation for himself after guiding Dale to their first promotion since 1969 last season. They have acclimatised well to life in the third tier but Hill is continually striving for more success and says his players must do likewise. "I won't apologise for being over-ambitious at this football club," he said. "The players have got to match my ambition and not just by saying it, they have got to prove it as well. "Sometimes when we have been over-achieving in this league and the spotlight has been on us to keep achieving, sometimes people fall by the wayside and don't quite trust themselves. "We`ve got to build that trust with the players and make sure they take it on to the pitch."
