Hill happy with point

Rochdale boss Keith Hill was pleased with a point in the 2-2 draw at home to Brighton which kept his side`s slim play-off hopes alive. Dale led when Will Atkinson side-footed home but the Seagulls levelled soon after when Chris Wood fired home from the penalty spot. Gary Dicker headed Brighton in front but Gary Jones` penalty levelled the scores in the 71st minute and ended Brighton`s eight-match winning run. Hill, who was taking charge of his 200th game for the club, said: "I'm really pleased with a point at the end of the day because it takes us a bit closer to where we want to be. "Other teams around us have lost, so this result solidifies our position in the league. I was hoping for a clean sheet from the game, but to be honest I wasn't expecting one. "At the end of the day, it could have gone either way - Gary Jones had an unbelievable snapshot, Chris O'Grady and Nicky Adams hit the post and Brighton had their chances as well."
