Hill happy with Akpro swoop
Rochdale boss Keith Hill has backed new recruit Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro to shine at Spotland next season.
The striker recently left Grimsby after turning down a new contract and instead joined newly-promoted Dale on a two-year deal.
Hill said: "Jean-Louis has all the attributes that we can work with and develop.
"He has good movement, technical ability and physique. I'm excited by the prospect of working with him and developing him as a striker.
"There is a lot of work on both sides but we have an excellent record here of developing players, and looking at the way we have brought strikers on at the club recently, John-Louis presents another opportunity and challenge to do this.
"He has the attributes to do well and we will be working together to make this happen."
