Hill hails "unbelievable" Dale

Chris Dagnall's superb 73rd-minute finish - his first goal since January - rescued a draw for the visitors in a match where the home side could and should have been out of sight at half-time. The visitors took a first-half battering from Shrewsbury, who remain on the fringes of the play-offs, and fell behind to ex-Dale hit-man Grant Holt early in the second half. "Shrewsbury were exceptional in the first half and we were exceptional in the second," said a delighted Hill, whose side had conceded seven goals in their previous two away games. "With Shrewsbury playing on Good Friday, they benefited from having an extra day's recovery. I think everyone should play on the same day over the Easter weekend. "But I am over the moon with the point. We could have gone under when they took the lead but credit to the lads."
