Hill hails in-form Dale
Rochdale manager Keith Hill praised his side as they collected their fourth successive win with a 2-0 success over Charlton at Spotland.
The result stretched the Addicks' run without a win to 11 games as goals either side of the break from Jason Kennedy and Craig Dawson sunk Chris Powell's team.
Goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams and on-loan West Brom defender Dawson were the stars of the show as Dale moved to within five points of sixth-placed Bournemouth and maintained their push for a play-off finish.
Hill said: "Charlton are a very good side and with the players they have at their disposal they really should be up in the top four or five places in our league.
"They created a lot of chances, but part of football is defending and we did that very well.
"It was a bit cagey at times in the first half and they came at us in the second half and caused us a lot of problems, but we defended really well and looked dangerous ourselves."
