Hill dismisses talks with Millers

Rumours had been circulating that the Spotland boss was interviewed for the vacancy despite openly criticising Rotherham in the past, particularly on the fellow League Two club's spending while still in administration. "I think suggestions I have been interviewed for the Rotherham job probably come from somebody being a bit tongue in cheek, it's just a bit of devilment," Hill said to the Rochdale Observer. "I have no desire to be Rotherham's next manager and I'm sure their chairman would not have me in mind because everyone at the club knows my well-documented feelings on Rotherham having been in administration twice."
