Hill delighted with positive Dale start

The Spotland outfit have not won a promotion since 1969 and have resided in the bottom tier of English football since 1974. Hill has seen his side beaten in the League Two play-offs in the past two years but their rich run of form has encouraged hopes that Dale can finally go up this season. "This is our best start of any season that I can remember," said Hill. "We have averaged two points per game and that is enough to put any side up there with a chance of doing something. "But managers are judged over the whole season, not the first 10 games, and we will see where we are as the season progresses."
