Hill delight at Dale fitness

Rochdale boss Keith Hill hailed the fitness of his side after they struck twice after the hour to take the points in a 3-1 win over Brentford. After Anthony Elding's early opener, Chris O'Grady netted after 60 minutes and Jason Kennedy two minutes after, and even the latter's dismissal - for picking up two cautions - could dampen a delighted Hill. He said: "I have a very good bunch of young players who were the fittest in League Two last season and I think they'll be the fittest in this division. "I'm sure the vultures will be gathering round two or three of them until the deadline finishes but the deal will have to be right for the chairman and for Rochdale Football Club. "We played really well and were the better side and I was delighted with the way we closed them down and didn't let Brentford play."
