Hill: Dagnall red card no excuse

04 March 2009 13:54
First-half strikes from John O'Flynn and Lee McEvilly ensured it was all square at the break, while Dagnall received a straight red card late on for his tackle on Bees skipper Neal Bishop. Pacy winger Yannick Bolasie then cut inside in the 90th minute and his low shot squirmed under unfortunate keeper Frank Fielding to sink Dale at Underhill. Hill said: "Chris has over-committed himself but I don't think there was any intention, he's a little bit dismayed in there but we'll pick him and the lads up for Saturday's game. "It had no bearing on whether we lost or drew the game, the goal just came out of nothing. It wasn't a game for the purists, the conditions played a massive part in the game but they adapted to them better than us. "They deserved the victory because in a game of mistakes they committed fewer than we did."
