High-flying Dale extended their unbeaten run to 11 games and moved 10 points clear of second-placed Bournemouth at the League Two summit.[LNB]Hill said: "It was a very tactical game, especially with them being so defensive minded. You can see from the league table they have only been beaten five times this season and defensively they are very good.[LNB]"It was a grind at time to break them down and when we did we were guilty of not finishing off our chances.[LNB]"Our performance was excellent but it takes two to tango and I don't think Port Vale turned up with their dance shoes on."[LNB]He added: "That said, they were excellent defensively and they have kept an awful lot of clean sheets this season. Perhaps they were a bit fortunate with the Chris Dagnall effort late on, but I'm not too disappointed with the result."[LNB][LNB]
