Hill calls for fans' backing

Rochdale boss Keith Hill has urged supporters to turn out in force when Walsall visit Spotland on Saturday. Dale collected their second successive League One win last weekend with a memorable 2-0 triumph at Southampton. Now Hill wants to create the right atmosphere on home soil to give his players the best chance of extending their run of form. "That's two wins we have now - both away wins," he told the Manchester Evening News. "People seem to think I have a go at supporters - I don't - but I need every single supporter to turn up on Saturday, support the players and support the way we are playing. We need patience. I'm not moaning at them but I expect them to be that extra player we need."
