After a scrappy first half ended goalless, Dale asked most of the questions in the second and their performance was rewarded with goals from Joe Thompson, Chris Dagnall and a penalty from Tom Kennedy.[LNB]"It was a good performance. Being a derby makes it all the more difficult because there are a lot of emotions, but the lads handled it exceptionally well and the performance was exactly what you look for as a manager," said Hill.[LNB]"We had that end result on this occasion, which is the only thing that matters for supporters. We were really pleased with the effort shown in the first half and we had a few opportunities but were not too clinical in front of goal.[LNB]"In the second half, the first goal gave us the opportunity to do what we do well, which is counter attack. We have a lot of pace and lot of ability and we had opportunities to make it even more convincing.[LNB]"But I won't complain at 3-0. Bury's goalkeeper had an exceptional game."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
