Hill: Bantams fully deserved to win

24 February 2010 10:28
Matthew Clarke opened the scoring for the Bantams but Dale levelled in the 45th minute when Chris Dagnall converted Chris O'Grady's centre.[LNB]Late strikes from debutant Robbie Threlfall and Gareth Evans saw off Hill's title favourites and handed Peter Taylor his first win as Bradford boss.[LNB]Hill said: "It was a fair result, their two second-half goals were excellent and we were never good enough to win it. Bradford were excellent on the night and they have clearly responded to the new manager.[LNB]"They edged the work rate and never allowed us to get into our tempo. When we got it to 1-1 I thought we might get something out of the game.[LNB]"But I never felt we were too comfortable. We dominated possession in the second half but they always looked a threat."[LNB][LNB]
