Hill aware of precarious position of managers

Rochdale boss Keith Hill says he would never take his job for granted following the recent sackings of Chris Hughton and Sam Allardyce. Hill and assistant David Flitcroft presided over the club`s first promotion since 1969 last season and have won many admirers for their work. Yet the shock departures of Hughton and Allardyce from Newcastle and Blackburn respectively also hammered home the precarious nature of football management. "I don't take anything for granted as a manager," said Hill. "I know the pressure is always there, that my job is precarious. "I know I will be judged on results. But if I were to lose this job, it wouldn't be down to a lack of effort."
