Dunphy calls for Dale to unite
The Spotland outfit have not won a promotion since 1969 but they are now aiming to go up automatically after last year's play-off final defeat.
Three games without a win have put a dent in Dale's aspirations and they host Port Vale this weekend on the back of a 4-0 thumping at lowly Bournemouth.
Dunphy told the club's official website: "What we really need now is for everyone connected to the club to pull closely together behind Keith, Dave (Flitcroft) and the players as we build up towards Saturday's game.
"They all need our support now, more than ever, and together, as 'Team Rochdale' as Keith calls it, we can be a real force."
