Dodds agrees Spotland stay

Rochdale have extended the loan stay of Leicester City striker Louis Dodds at Spotland.

The 20-year-old marked his first start for Keith Hill's side with the winner in last week's 1-0 victory over Chester City.

Dodds has made three more substitute appearances for Dale since arriving in February and will now remain with the League Two side until the end of April.

"It's been a great if not a little frustrating for me since I arrived, but now I've got my chance I'm relishing it," he told the club's official website.

"To score on my full debut was fantastic and it's pleasing to give a bit back to a management duo who have put faith in me.

"Fingers crossed I'll count my next month as successful by adding to the goal tally."
