Defender extends Dale loan deal
Newey is reported to have been told that he will not be offered a new deal with the Mariners and is now available for Dale's play-off semi-final second-leg with Gillingham and the final should they reach it.
Dale drew 0-0 with the Gills in Thursday night's first-leg and travel to Priestfield on Sunday.
