Dale wait on Branch

Rochdale manager Steve Parkin is waiting to discover whether Chester City striker Michael Branch will agree to move to Spotland on loan.
Parkin is desperate to add an experienced forward to his squad following Rickie Lambert's deadline day move to Bristol Rovers and Branch is at the top of his wanted list.
"I have been interested in Michael for some time and we have made another enquiry about his availability," he explained.
"We got permission from Chester to speak to him last week, but we are still waiting for him to get back to us. There is nothing more to add than that."
Branch, 28, has not featured for Chester this season and is so far out of contention that he is no longer even training with the first-team squad.
