Dale turn to loanee Flynn

Rochdale have drafted in Macclesfield Town defender Matthew Flynn on a month's loan.

The 20-year-old has been signed by Keith Hill to provide cover across a wafer-thin backline at Spotland.

Despite his tender age, Flynn has a wealth of first-team experience after 28 appearances at Moss Rose last season, including an appearance at Spotland against Dale.

He goes straight into Hill's squad for Saturday's encounter at home to Aldershot Town.
