Rochdale have swooped to make loan striker Chris O'Grady a permanent fixture at Spotland having agreed a fee with Oldham Athletic for his services.
The 23-year-old has helped fire Rochdale to the top of League Two since arriving at the club at the end of August, forming a deadly partnership with fellow front man Chris Dagnall.
After netting 12 goals in 21 games for Dale, O'Grady had attracted interest from the Championship despite an unsuccessful 18-month period with the Latics.
However, O'Grady claimed he was relieved to have sorted out his future with the fourth tier leaders.
"I'm glad to get it over and done with and signed," O'Grady told Rochdale's official website.
''I just want to get back on the pitch and carry on with what we're doing."
