Dale set for Vale

Rochdale have been drawn away to Port Vale in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Section (West).Keith Hill's side were knocked out at the first stage last season as they went down 2-1 to Bradford at Spotland.The tie will be played in the week commencing August 30.
