Dale seal Le Fondre deal

New Rochdale signing Adam Le Fondre has set himself a target of 20 goals this season after completing his move from Stockport County to Spotland.

The 20-year-old has penned a three-year deal with Dale after scoring 20 goals in 32 starts and 41 substitute appearances for Stockport.

"It's a wrench to leave my hometown club as I supported them as a kid," Le Fondre told Rochdale's official website.

"Having said that I need to progress my career and Rochdale are probably going to give me a bit more of an opportunity than seemed likely at Stockport, so hopefully it will prove a good move for the club and myself.

"Hopefully I can now get more than 20 goals because I've been promising that for a while."

Le Fondre scored four goals in seven games for Keith Hill's side during a loan spell at Spotland last season.
