Dale plan Stanton appeal

Rochdale boss Keith Hill has decided to appeal against Nathan Stanton's dismissal in Saturday's victory at Aldershot Town.

Stanton was sent off in the closing stages of Dale's 4-2 victory when he conceded a penalty by bringing down Marvin Morgan.

"We're going to try to get the card rescinded because from the footage that we've seen on the TV and on the DVD we feel that we have a case," Hill told Dale's official website.

"I'm not sure how the system works in terms of time scale but if we do lodge an appeal he will be available to us for the trip to Chester on Tuesday."
