Dale lose injured Stanton

Rochdale have ruled Nathan Stanton out for the remainder of the season after the defender suffered a hamstring injury in training.

Stanton has been a virtual ever-present in the Dale starting line-up this season after signing on a free transfer from Scunthorpe United in the summer.

But the 25-year-old is highly unlikely to play again this season after suffering a training-ground injury.

"He probably won't play again because his injury needs to be seen by a specialist and we will know more then," confirmed Dale boss Keith Hill to the club's official website.
