Dale in striker hunt

Rochdale boss Keith Hill is scouring the transfer market for another striker after hearing that Chris Dagnall will miss most of the rest of the season with a broken foot.

Dagnall has bagged ten goals this season, but suffered a broken metatarsal in training recently.

Hill has already drafted Stockport striker Adam Le Fondre and Manchester City defender Kelvin Etuhu in on loan during the transfer window, but is looking to boost his attacking options ahead of Saturday's visit of MK Dons.

"It is a bit of a blow to lose Chris, but he will be like a new signing when he comes back," said Hill.
