Dale keeper: I'm here to play
The 18-year-old was released by the Elland Road club at the end of last season and was happy to put pen to paper with Keith Hill's men on July 1.
"I don't want to come over as arrogant but I was confident I'd get another club," said Edwards.
"I'm here to develop, to learn and to play and I can't wait for the season to start."
