Dale depleted for Silkmen clash
Skipper Gary Jones is absent with a hamstring strain but is expected to be back in contention within the next fortnight.[LNB]Forward Will Buckley remains sidelined for several weeks yet due to a combination of thigh and ankle problems.[LNB]Winger Joe Thompson picked up a knock in Tuesday's 3-0 win at Bradford and is doubtful.[LNB]He was replaced early in the second half by Kallum Higginbotham, who is now in line for his first start of the season.[LNB]Goalkeepers Kenny Arthur and Matty Edwards remain sidelined with back and wrist injuries respectively so on-loan Manchester United stopper Tom Heaton will continue between the posts.[LNB][LNB]
