Dale clash abandoned
Rochdale's home league clash with local rivals Oldham has been abandoned due to the adverse weather conditions at Spotland.
The north-west derby was six minutes old when referee Tony Bates called a halt to proceedings and carried out a pitch inspection.
It was clear the playing surface was waterlogged and with the score at 0-0 the game was officially abandoned.
