Dale chief hails management duo
Dale boss Hill and trusted lieutenant Flitcroft guided the Spotland outfit to the League Two play-off final last year and the semi-finals this term.
They failed to deliver the club's first promotion since 1969 but Dunphy says the duo's work deserves to be recognised.
He said: "We have a management team in place that has delivered a brand of football that brings excitement and for the most time, football that is simply a pleasure to watch.
"Keith Hill and Dave Flitcroft should be applauded for the work and the results they have achieved at this football club this far.
"We as a board of directors will continue to back them wherever possible, there is no question of that."
