Dale chief focused on results

Dale's bid to win their first promotion since 1969 has been hit by a damaging run of just one victory in their last six games.

Hill is renowned for his commitment to attractive football but the Spotland boss knows results must take priority as his side bid to claim the point they need to make the play-offs.

Hill, whose side travel to Luton this weekend, said: "If I'm being honest I'm not now looking for performances.

"We always want to do things the special way but at this moment in time any way will do.

"If we can do it our way then it will be superb but it is just a case of getting that one point in any way that we can."
