Hill closely pursued Taylor and was hopeful of bringing him to the club from Stockport but the player decided to choose the Millers.[LNB]The move provoked an angry response from Hill, who criticised the player and his agent for being interested only in money.[LNB]He told the Rochdale Observer: "Jason was a target of ours, a northern-based player who would have been an ideal signing for us and I'm really miffed we've lost out on him.[LNB]"We'd been in communication with him and his agent all week and we were confident he'd be a Rochdale player by Monday - but at the last minute he's gone to Rotherham.[LNB]"The decision is down to one thing and one thing only - money, that's all. It was financially a better offer from Rotherham and it's a monetary issue which has swayed it for agent and player."[LNB][LNB]
