Dale boss lands manager award

Hill won the award on the back of an unbeaten month that saw Dale come from 3-0 down to draw at Morecambe before securing victories over Torquay, Northampton, Hereford and Darlington and that run has seen them climb into second place. "I am delighted because it is testament to what we are trying to achieve at this football club," Hill told the club's official website. "The award is fantastic but to be honest it isn't about me. It is about representing our beliefs on the football pitch through the vehicle of our players. "Everything me and Dave Flitcroft advocate, the players have put into practice. They have to be strong believers in what we are trying to do here and while they do that they will be successful."
