Buckley, who is believed to be attracting attention for a number of higher-placed clubs, came off the substitutes' bench to make a matchwinning impact in Tuesday's 2-0 victory at Darlington. Within six minutes of replacing Joe Thompson, Buckley notched his third goal in as many games to set Dale on their way to a fourth successive League Two victory. Hill said: "There was a strategy behind playing Joe but Will wasn't dropped. It just shows the quality we've got in the squad." Defender Rory McArdle is still out with a dislocated shoulder and midfielder Ciaran Toner is also a long-term absentee due to a shin injury. The match kicks off at 3pm.
