Rochdale have revealed that loanees Glenn Murray and Rory McArdle are on the verge of agreeing permanent contracts with the club.

The duo are currently on loan at Spotland from Carlisle United and Sheffield Wednesday respectively, and are set to sign contracts that will keep them with the club until the end of the 2008-09 campaign.

Meanwhile, Keith Barker has returned to Blackburn Rovers following his recent loan spell with Dale, and Iyseden Christie has completed a permanent switch to Kidderminster Harriers.

Caretaker boss Keith Hill has also stated his desire to extend Frenchman William Mocquet's loan spell with the club.
