Wrexham boss Denis Smith is fuming at Wales Under-21 international Mark Jones, who is a doubt for the weekend action due to blisters on his feet.
The 22-year-old missed out on the chance of a full international debut against the might of Brazil due to the problem and Smith is less than impressed.
He told BBC Sport Wales: "I want to get to the bottom of it. There is no way he should be getting blisters at this stage.
"I want to sit down with him, which I haven't done yet because he's been to see our doctor and has been laid off until Thursday. It's something that shouldn't be happening.
"He hasn't trained since last Friday and he won't be training until Thursday at the earliest.
"I'm disappointed and we'll have to take it from there. I'll be having a long chat with him because I'm not happy with the situation."
