Football: Moroccos Zairi joins Ioannina

Moroccan international forward Jaouad Zairi has signed a one-year contract with Ioannina, the Greek Super League club said Friday.

No financial details of the contract were revealed by the team.

The 29-year-old previously played for Greek clubs Olympiakos (2009-2011) and Asteras Tripolis (2007-2009); French sides Nantes (2007), Sochaux (2001-2006) and Gueugnon (2000-2001), Portugal's Boavista (2006-2007) and Saudi outfit Al-Ittihad (2006).

He has played 33 times for Morocco, scoring 10 goals.
