Rennes reach deal with PSG for Erding

Ligue 1 side Rennes have reached an agreement with leaders Paris Saint-Germain for Turkish international striker Mevlut Erding, the Brittany club told AFP on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old, born in France of Turkish parents, is expected to undergo a medical in Rennes on Wednesday morning before signing a three-and-a-half-year deal in a move reportedly worth between seven and eight million euros.

Erding - capped 13 times - arrived at PSG in June 2009 from Sochaux but has fallen out of favour at the Parc des Princes, scoring just one goal in 11 matches this season.
