Zaragoza swoop for Babic

Real Zaragoza have snapped up free agent full-back Marko Babic following his release by Hertha Berlin.

Babic, 28, was shown the door at the Bundesliga club after making just eight appearances for them last season.

The Croatia international has agreed a two-year contract at the newly-promoted La Liga club.

Babic is Zaragoza's sixth new signing of the summer following the previous captures of Jermaine Pennant, Ikechukwu Uche, Pablo Amo, Juan Carrizo and Abel Aguilar.
