Lafita finally joins Zaragoza

Real Zaragoza have finally completed the signing of Angel Lafita following a hearing into his protracted switch from Deportivo La Coruna.

The 25-year-old midfielder found himself at the centre of a dispute after Depor objected to his free transfer move to Zaragoza, which the player agreed when his contract expired during the summer.

"I have lived a nightmare. I have had to take measured and cautious steps with my representatives," said Lafita after Tuesday's Professional Football League hearing gave him the green light to switch clubs.

"I had to train in strange places. Every day was something new, a constant soap opera."
