Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster remains positive that his side can win the Spanish Supercopa, despite a 3-2 first-leg defeat to Valencia in the Mestalla.
A Ruud van Nistelrooy double gave Real hope of success in the second leg in the Bernabeu, with Schuster having mixed feelings over his side's display.
He told reporters: "I am sure that in front of our fans we are going to play a lot better.
"We knew that the game was going to be intense because you are already playing for a title.
"I think that both teams played well, although it is true that at this stage of the season there are still things that are not working well.
"What I have been less pleased with is that on occasion we have given too much to Valencia. There have been times when we have not been focussed.
"On the other hand we have reacted very well after going 2-1 down. I think I have seen several positive things although not everything has gone as we wanted.
"We have 90 minutes left to play and a 1-0 win would be enough for us. We are going to play much better in the Bernabeu and I have total faith we can turn this around."
