Cristiano Ronaldo has vowed to play through the pain in a bid to help Real Madrid overcome bitter rivals Barcelona in Sunday's heavyweight La Liga showdown.
Ronaldo has not featured for Real since September following an ankle ligament injury.
The £80million winger returned to training last weekend and is determined to play in his first 'Clasico' game at the Camp Nou.
"It's been six weeks since I played in a game and I'm dying to play," Ronaldo told Marca.
"I can endure the pain and I want to play against Barcelona, no isn't an option.
"I am really up for it and very eager," he added.
Ronaldo could make a substitute appearance against FC Zurich in the Champions League on Wednesday night in a bid to prove his fitness.
