Real hoping for Robinho stay

Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has again spoken of his desire to keep Brazilian forward Robinho at the club, despite continuing interest from Chelsea.
The 24-year-old was an unused substitute as Real won the second leg of their Spanish Supercopa against Valencia 4-2 to seal a dramatic 6-5 aggregate success.
However, Schuster says he was prepared to use Robinho in the game if he felt that he was the right option.
The German said after the game: "For me, Robinho is the same player as always, he is an important player who should be part of this project.
"I think that he knows that he can be successful at Real Madrid. It is a subject that you need to resolve in the best way possible, but we are all selfish and the best would be that he stays with us for a long time.
"Without doubt, it's not a comfortable situation either for him or for us.
"The decision not to play him was mine, but he continues with the team because we are going to see what happens, we need to think that he could also remain with the team this season."
