Real hope Kaka will be back in December

Real Madrid sporting director Jorge Valdano predicts that Kaka will not be ready to return to the first team until December.

The Brazil international has yet to feature for Real so far this season after being forced to endure knee surgery in August.

It was estimated at the time that the former AC Milan playmaker would be out of action for up to four months and that still appears to be the case.

Valdano said when asked about Kaka: "If we are fortunate he will be back in early December. We need to have him fully fit because, at his age, he can play at the peak of his ability."

Meanwhile, Valdano is wary of AC Milan's threat as Real step up their preparations for this week's Champions League clash with the Rossoneri.

He added: "They are a very dangerous team with Robinho, Ibrahimovic and Ronaldinho. They are a group of class players that will be motivated by playing at the Bernabeu."
